When the owner of a multi-generational law firm approached New Wine, they had previously been disappointed by many other marketing agencies. Often these firms offered spectacular results but were never able to live up to the hype.
While the law firm had been growing at the time, they still needed to establish a solid digital presence and position the firm as a leader in their practice category. They were also seeking to grow in different markets and needed a strategy that could help expand their client base and increase their profitability during this expansion.
New Wine did a complete review of the firm’s website, search position, and social media presence, and found that the company needed a complete revamp. They had a generic-looking website with poorly written content. They had a blog, but it was not consistently maintained and it lacked focus. At the end of the day, they were simply not getting the results they wanted from their digital presence.
Strategy Development and Implementation
New Wine presented a strategy to rebrand the firm, starting with a redesign of their website—we eventually replaced their logo as well. The rebranding process included presenting their core values and speaking to the exact type of client they sought to attract. It was important to the firm that when a prospect visited their site, they became aware of what they could expect both in terms of service and investment. The multi-year strategy also included a content strategy that would steadily grow the firm in every new market.
The key objective we quickly established was to acquire new clients by ranking for local traffic in each new market. We then designed and launched a new website for the law firm with that objective in mind. We provided fresh copy that was tailored to reflect the values, objectives, and service levels each client could expect when working with the firm.
As soon as the new site was up, New Wine began publishing fresh content 5-6 times a month for a sustained period. We standardized their name, address, and phone number across all third-party directory listings as well. To help with organic strategies, we launched a very targeted paid search campaign that would boost new client acquisition and supported any offsite events.
