This past Tuesday I had the opportunity to speak at a seminar sponsored by AIR Marketing, here in Phoenix. My presentation was in fact the first in a three part series on Social Media. Yesterday’s topic was “Harnessing the Power of Social Media”. It is really an introductory presentation reviewing how consumers are using social media, reviewing the technologies landscape and reviewing three case studies involving effective social media implementations.
My goal in the presentation was to present social media as an effective medium for achieving traditional marketing goals such as brand awareness, sales conversion, customer loyalty etc. The powerpoint presentation along with an audio podcast are available below for those interested in reviewing my thoughts on these topics.
